The network location tool is a utility that approximates and displays the geophysical location of your network address on a Google Map. Currently, geolocation information is available from two sources, MaxMind and Hostip.info. The location database provided by MaxMind is 98% accurate on a country level and 70% accurate on a city level for the US within a 25 mile radius. Accuracy information is not available for Hostip.info; however, the Hostip database is open for user input so it is continually becoming more precise. Fun searches: digg.com, youtube.com, facebook.com, thepiratebay.org, and cia.gov.
I host YouGetSignal.com with MediaTemple. They have 24/7 support, great response times, and can best of all they can handle the Digg effect. If you decide to use them as well, do me a favor and list "yougetsignal.com" as your referral domain.
